The agenda papers for Executive meetings, and the documents being considered by officers taking key decisions, are available five working days before the decision will be made through the Council’s website.

Please contact the lead officer directly if you wish to obtain copies or extracts of any other listed documents, or if you wish to receive details of further documents as they become available. Sometimes the papers you request may contain exempt or confidential information. If this is the case, the lead officer will explain why it will not be possible to make copies available.

A decision needs to be taken on the form of the school funding formula for 2025-26 for Cumberland Council. The Department for Education has confirmed that the local authority must consult all schools and schools forum on an annual basis on changes to the school funding formula as local authorities continue to have flexibility to decide whether to implement the national funding formula or a local agreed funding formula for schools and continue to have flexibility to transfer funding from the schools block to high needs block.

The WIAA sets out the arrangements for the Host (Cumberland Council) and the Recipient (Westmorland & Furness Council) to agree an annual budget for Waste Disposal.
